Tiraspol city guide
Going to Tiraspol, the capital of Transnistria, the disputed region on the left bank of river Dniester can be a very annoying and time consuming experience due to the heavy border control and registration required if you stay longer than 10 hours. Especially when you want to enter the area from Moldova you can expect annoying procedures. It is also recommended to have some basic knowledge of Russian language since in Transnistria most people do hardly speak English. Especially when you want to get seriously into touch with local girls in the capital Tiraspol or other towns you should bring along some Russian language skills.
